This work presents a transitional space, an architectural threshold where interior and exterior overlap until their boundaries blur. A monumental arch opens onto an almost white light, absorbing the human silhouettes that pass through it, while the city, fragmented into layers of color and texture, persists on either side. The chromatic treatment transforms the scene into an immersive composition, where cafes, trees, and facades seem to exist simultaneously in multiple temporalities. Architectural lines, reflections, and transparencies blur the perception of the place, inviting the gaze to wander slowly, as if in a mental rather than a physical space. This photograph explores the notions of passage, waiting, and invisible thresholds in the contemporary city. It evokes those places we pass through without paying attention, yet which hold a powerful emotional charge. Intended for lovers of contemporary art and narrative photography, this work offers a contemplative experience, poised between presence and erasure, where the city becomes the discreet stage for our own transitions.
